The 2012 March for Life was a success both nationally and throughout NW Ohio. On Friday January 20, in Ottawa Ohio Congressman Bob Latta met with the public to talk about the successes of 2011, and different pieces of pro-life legislation currently in Congress. On Sunday, January 22, St. Joseph's Church in Maumee held it's annual March for Life which started at the church and ended at the pro-life memorial in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Lastly in coordination with the National March for Life in Washington, Defiance held it's annual March for Life with a few speakers, Including Foundation for Life's Executive Director Ed Sitter. After they marched from the Defiance courthouse to the Monument for the Unborn on Jackson Avenue.

Bob Latta warmly invited marchers from Ohio District 5 in Washington into his office after the march for cookies and hot chocolate.
