Students Equipped to Advocate for Life (SEAL) is an outreach program designed for students from 8th grade through college to be equipped advocates for LIFE in their schools and communities.

We have content and lessons, speakers and materials available to you if you would like to start your own pro-life student group at church or in your school. Give us a call and we would gladly help you get started!

Pro-Life Student Contests



Rules and Guidelines for All Contestants
1. Entries will be accepted now through March 31, 2026.
2. Contest is open to any student aged 12-22. Must be an Ohio or SE Michigan resident. NO EXCEPTIONS.
3. By submitting entry, the contestant agrees to cite any sources used.
4. By submitting entry, the contestant (and parent if under 18) agree to allow FFL to use their names, photographs, and submissions for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes without notification or compensation.
5. Include a cover letter that includes your full name, full address, contact phone number, email address, grade level/school name, student DOB, parent(s) name, and parental permission if under 18.
6. FFL judges will select the winners from among the entries. Winners will be notified by April 16, 2026.
7. FFL will feature winning entry on their website.
8. Pro-Life Contest winners will receive cash prizes of: $200 for 1st place, $125 for 2nd place, and $75 for 3rd place.
9. Awards will be presented at FFL’s annual Prolife Movie Night on April 28, 2026.
Additional Guidelines for each category
Video Contest:
1. The video must be 30 seconds to 2 minutes in length, address a specific pro-life
theme and be presented in a creative way.
2. Entries must be submitted to ed@fflnwo.org.
3. No professional assistance is allowed.
4. FFL will feature the winning entries on their website, and it may be used at the annual Benefit for Life.
Creative Writing Contest:
1. The creative writing entries should address a specific pro-life theme.
2. Entries should be sent to: Foundation for Life, 5726 Southwyck Blvd, Suite 120,
Toledo, OH 43614 or email to ed@fflnwo.org.
3. The creative writing must not exceed 500 words in length. (Please include the final word count in your cover letter)
4. The creative writing must be double spaced and pages numbered.
5. The creative writing must be in MS Word or Google doc format using 12pt font.
6. FFL will feature the winning entry on their website.
Boot Camp Pro-Life T-Shirt Design Contest:
1. Your t-shirt design should address a specific pro-life theme and be original. DO NOT
use copyrighted material.
2. Entries should be sent to: Foundation for Life, 5726 Southwyck Blvd, Suite 120,
Toledo, OH 43614 or email to ed@fflnwo.org.
3. FFL will feature the winning entry on their website, and may be used as the Prolife Boot Camp t-shirt design.
SEAL Team Meetings
We meet monthly at Bethel Assembly Perrysburg or at our Office on Southwyck Blvd for an hour and a half. Some months will be different due to special events or activities. Come join this great group and bring a friend! You don't want to miss out!

SEAL Team Movie Night
Each year, in April, the SEAL Students host a movie night at Maumee Indoor Theater featuring a movie with a pro-life message. Watch for details and join us for this family night out promoting life.
SEAL Team Boot Camp
Half day of pro-life training and discussions for students held on a Saturday in early September. This is a great opportunity to learn about how to defend your pro-life beliefs in your sphere of influence.


SEAL Team Baby Shower
Each December, SEAL students host a baby shower for a mom in need nominated by a local pregnancy center. The SEALs plan the theme, games, snacks, cakes and collect donated gifts to celebrate this mom's choice for life and the arrival of their baby.
SEAL Team Prolife Contests
Put your talents to work in the defense of life by designing a t-shirt, making a video, or writing a speech expressing your pro-life views.
